1. Go to www.dyndns.com & create an account

(Do not use your personal email address, we recommend you create one on yahoo or MSN, whatever you prefer. Make sure you create 1 email address per DVR)

2. Check your email & confirm your account with the provided link

3. Login to DynDNS.com

1. Click on Add Host Services

2. On Hostname, type in your preferred Hostname

3. On the Drop Down Box, select dvrdns.org

4. Check mark: Host with IP Address

5. Click on Use auto detected IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

6. Click on Add to Cart

7. Dynamic DNS Hosts is free, so just click on Next & activate services

1. Install the DynDNS software & run to launch software

2. DynDNS will prompt to type in username and password, use the same username and password that you created on CREATE ACCOUNT

3. After a successful login, under Dynamic DNS Hosts, check the DNS you created, APPLY, and OK

4. Now you use the Dynamic DNS Host, ex: xxxxx.dvrdns.org, instead of an ip address
